Eight Hours Straight. I May Be Too Old For This

So, today was the first day we could walk on our floors - with socks. After admiring the gorgeous old floors redone and the gorgeous new floors, we got to work. Steve needs to tile the guest bathroom before the plumbing (vanity, toilet, tub) gets attached. At least the floor tile. We didn't have the third floor refinished because Steve wants it carpeted for his office. SO, when the plaster guys did the walls on the third floor, the RamBoard (technical term) which covers and protects the floors was covered with plaster and plaster dust. Gross. I spent 8 hours pulling up the paper covering full of dried plaster. And then cleaning the floors to prepare for carpeting.
We're still waiting to hear from our plumber -- we need to move in!

My job for the day. Stairs going up to third floor. I didn't take enough photos of the third floor to prove how hard I worked today. Breaking my arm patting myself on the back.
