This weekend

The guys who did our bluestone front walkway and portico came back this weekend to dig an irrigation ditch and install stone on the sunroom foundation. Also, another door.

After an intense weekend of yard clean up and interior scrubbing and dusting, I was gone for the day. Imagine my joy when I returned and found that Steve had installed a door on the downstairs powder room! Hooray! No more screeching "peeing" when doing so to insure privacy. Civilization marches forward.

Here's where we are: the carpenters are done (cabinets are in, back stairs are in), the plumbers (the messiest of all contractors) still have to install some heating, the electricians have some stuff to do. Enough already. Let's move our stuff in. We've had most of our furniture and other things in storage since May 20. I've been camping. Enough already.

Can they get Jenny's armoire up the stairs?
