Delivery of Wood Floors! And, Sorry, More Windows and Walls

We are refinishing the existing wood floors in the house. They are much admired by our crusty old floor guy, who was delighted that the second floor is Charleston Heart Pine. The wood floors are pretty, but beaten up, on both the first and second floor. We ordered new oak, to be stained, for the kitchen and sun room. It arrived today, and has to breathe before installed. Who knew?

New window in Connor's room. We're keeping the original windows on either side.

Madly In Love With Windows

Adam's crew worked on installing first floor windows, while Carmin's crew completely finished 2nd and 3rd floor plaster board. Love my windows and walls. Love.

The Beginning of Walls and Windows

If you've been following this blog all along, you'll remember that we totally gutted the interior in order to replace plumbing, upgrade electricity, and install insulation. The windows were original to the house and we decided most of them needed replacement. Windows were delivered this week and installation began today. The plaster guys also began installing plaster board. We have the beginning of walls!
