When you're renovating a house, you're not happy with a three-day weekend. That means no work on the house for three days. (Except, of course, for the work you do as a homeowner. Which is never ending and includes hefting original doors out of the garage, tiling bathrooms, and surveying the yard to try to figure out what the hell you're going to do with that mess.)
Today was a good day. A/C is working on 2nd and 3rd floors. I spent the day cleaning the shelves of the new cabinets to begin shelving stuff so we can get rid of boxes. Once the HVAC guys are done clomping about (I mean that in a good way) we can remove the floor covering and get some damn furniture in here.
Steve continues to tile. I continue to supervise. Thanks for listening.
